You’re Tasting What We Tasted

For 14 years, one partner made our honey lollipops. This year, that partnership ended. We spent the summer searching for what comes next, meeting candy makers across the country, until we found a partner with plenty of experience who didn’t just say yes. He helped us imagine what our candy could become.

The new format is a small honey drop candy, and the launch lineup is seven flavors deep. Five you’ve sold and loved as lollipops: Original Honey, Lemon Honey, Blueberry Honey, Cinnamon Honey, and Ginger Honey. Two have never existed before. Chocolate Honey is a chocolate candy that ships through summer heat, a year-round flavor with no melted packages and no seasonal rotation. And Spicy Honey is sweet and spicy in the same bite, warm without being punishing. It’s the flavor everyone reaches for twice.

Each flavor arrives in its own glassine baggie, packed directly from our development runs. You may notice slight size variation between pieces. That means you’re tasting exactly what we tasted when we chose these seven. What’s in the Honey Candy Sampling?

• All seven launch flavors: Original Honey, Lemon Honey, Blueberry Honey, Cinnamon Honey, Ginger Honey, and the brand-new Chocolate Honey and Spicy Honey, each in its own glassine baggie.
• Straight from the development runs: These are the actual pieces from the batches we used to choose the launch lineup, not a polished production run.
• A new format: Small drop candies replace the lollipop, with the same honey-forward flavor. We’re building the packaging to save space, so it will fit nicely in a go-bag.
• First word on every new flavor: More flavors are in development now and will release in drops over the coming months. Sampling customers hear first, before anything is announced.

How to taste: Try them in order: Original Honey first to set the baseline, then Lemon and Blueberry, then Chocolate. Save the warm three for the end: Cinnamon, then Ginger, then Spicy Honey last so the heat doesn’t carry into anything else. Let each piece dissolve rather than chewing it; the honey shows up in the second half.
